Backyard of my childhood home, as I saw it for the last time. It was spring but it was rainy and dark that week.

That week when I saw the house for the last time, I have also passed by the town’s fresh water spring – “cismea”. This is how it looked that day. When we were children, we used to come and bathe in the basins during the hot summer days. But the water basins are meant for the animals as they come from the fields: horses, cows. The old ladies in the village also washed the wool in the last two basins. I remember the water was always cold and fresh.
